Understanding Pyramids 11.4 x 15.2 cm, 16 pages, edition of 200, 1986 The first in a series of collage books. When asked by a worker at Esoterica, a New York bookstore, if he was a "Discordian" (a follower of the Principia Discordia) Russ said "No". When that negative answer was conveyed to an NYU based Discordian group they bought every copy in the store. They believied that only a true Discordian would say "No" if he meant "Yes". The book was somewhat inspired by John Harrison and Andre Breton... not to mention Michael Jackson and the disappointing Pop rubbish of the late 1980's. below is a page from "Understanding Pyramids": |
