| An EMS Evening with the Leisure Class at CBGBs. Four invitation cards. The artwork features an ambulance that was in the news at the time because of its key part in a riot in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Brooklyn. Designed as a comment on the news coverage at the time (the New York Post covers etc). It seems mild now, but at the time it upset even a few group members. Someone even said they feared the invitations would cause a riot. | |
